I enjoyed my stay at Spektr hotel. The views were awesome. The staff were friendly. The food was pretty good. As a solo traveller, I simply couldn’t afford the luxurious hotels. This hotel was the next best thing I could afford in the Yalikavak area. It was a short taxi away from into town (including the marina - which is a MUST to check out).
I got the deluxe room with a sea view. Be aware: the sliding patio doors on the pool-deck level DO NOT LOCK. This was very worrisome as a solo female. I am by no means saying don’t stay at this property, but maybe request a higher up room. One that isn’t on the pool level (even though it’s nice to be). I never felt unsafe here, but it’s the whole concept that my room didn’t lock which was unsettling (my belongings during the day while I’m out, my safety at night when I’m sleeping, etc.).
I would recommend this hotel, just keep this stuff in mind!
