Great hotel! Really appreciated the quality of the air conditioner, especially during a heat wave. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and plentiful. The hotel had a bit of a young person's vibe, almost like a high end hostel, but people of all ages were clearly staying there. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was an amazing property - extremely well located. Within easy walking of the waterfront (cruise pier), and several major attractions such as the Roman theater. The property itself is amazing. The lobby area is very nice and comfortable. Elevators are a nice size and pretty fast. The room we had had a nice queen size bed, a very efficient bathroom with a walk-in shower. The entire hotel is set up as an extension of its name - The Modernist. Extremely clean facility - the breakfast and bistro are is also quite nice. Breakfast offered a nice variety of foods all very tasty. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
