They had A/C.

A quiet hotel on a quiet street and very close to everything. Friendly staff. Loved it.
Improvements: lights on the steep dark stairs, tea and coffee on tap to take up to your room would make it very popular.

We stay at Hotel Des Bains every visit we make to Paris while en route by train to our other destinations. We enjoy the neighborhood and easy proximity to Gare de Montparnasse.

Overall stay was ok except that an issue with the air conditioning made it very hard to sleep the first two nights. Front desk staff is responsive but maids were rude.
