All the staff were happy, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room had a fantastic view over Lynmouth and sea. Everything was spotlessly clean. Food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner. Friendly, lively atmosphere. We only intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying 5.

The hotel was particularly quaint and uncommercial yet had everything that we needed. The food was excellent, however, there was no option for gluten free cereal which was a shame but there were plenty of other options available.

5 / 10·Oct 2026

All round our experience of the hotel and staff were very good. Had it not been for an issue with breakfast on our final day our rating would have been excellent. Very disappointing that we were unable to partake of a service paid for in advance but not available at the advertised times.
