The room was wonderful. We were upgraded upon arrival to an ocean view. Many amenities are at neighboring hotels, but if you are looking for quiet and low key, this is perfect. The fun, noisy places are steps away down the street. The front desk was very helpful. Especially Paola who gave us amazing recommendations for places to go and excursions that were off the beaten path.
The air conditioning was a bit weak is the only complaint.

Place is amazing but Tulum is definately not what it used to be. Was a ghost town and town restaurants are a rip off

Alaya has a eco-friendly theme which I love. The decor and all the architrlectural aspect of the property is beautiful! The downside of the rooms was there is no fridge, and the mosquitoes are murderers!!!
