The housekeeping was excellent — fresh towels and empty waste baskets which is no longer the case in most/many hotels. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
My three suggestions are (1) to employ someone who can assist older guests get heavy luggage up the fairly long, steep stairs to the second floor while not doing other tasks and be tipped for his/her help. (2) Have air conditioning controls in Fahrenheit rather than centigrade, and
(3) Less importantly, the rather high pitched recorded voice chanting “welcome” every time the office door is opened is unnecessary and annoying.

Excellent hotel, in terms of cleanliness, location, free parking, helpful staff, price, comfort, and available appliances. Highly recommended. It's above your average hotel with the price of an average hotel. Really great. The front desk staff person is very warm and helpful.
