The hotel was plain but comfortable. Very clean and a good size room for Europe. We enjoyed our balcony that had a small view of the sea. The best part was the short walk to the Monte Carlo Casino and many parks and shops/restaurants. Above the hotel was more local places where we really enjoyed an evening of food and music.
They kindly let us check in early after our room was ready. The downfall for us was having to go outside the hotel to buy ice for drinks on our balcony. We didn’t buy the breakfast as it was too plentiful but had to buy the coffee. The first woman who checked us in was so nice, but the next 2 days, the gentleman had no personality at all. You cannot get an Uber from there as we needed to go to the Port Hercule for a cruise. We had to lug our 5 suitcases a block over. That is not the hotels fault, but the law between France and Monica.
