The hotel has been created out of an old school and it’s lovely to see it given a new life. We liked having breakfast in the garden (which used to be the playground) and having a walk down to the fantastic beaches and cafes of Guethary. We had a room on the second floor and it was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also big and very clean- but I prefer a separate shower. The breakfast was lovely quality and very relaxed, we liked the long tables to share with other guests. I would like the possibility to make hot drinks in the room, but everything else at Balea was perfect.

Breakfast was more than adequate. A good selection without being sumptuous or wasteful.

We had an excellent service delivered by Joao and Steffany. They couldn’t be more helpful! So grateful to have arrived at this lovely place a real gem in a Guéthary. We aretes for two. Fibra and would love to come back soon! We moved our room on the second floor, spacious, clean and modern.
The grass just needs to look prettier and more green.
