We have stayed at Rocamar several times. The things that keep us going back are price, location, view, balcony, pool and the staff. It’s not the Ritz. If you want luxury move on, but if you’re looking for a nice economical option, it’s hard to beat. Negatives for me were the lack of blackout drapes. Great place for viewing beautiful sunrises. The view is stunning and the waves will sing you to sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great ac. Housekeeping does a great job of cleaning. The staff are great and always helpful. The pool is small but clean and has a nice area right on the malecon, always a nice breeze and quite often we had the pool to ourselves. Most rooms have nice, mostly private balconies that are great for sitting out in the evening. Playa Norte is an easy walk from there, plenty of restaurants and food choices very close and Hildago street a very easy walk. You can rent a golf cart right there (good pricing) and they have plenty of off street parking. It’s a hidden gem!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every day of our stay at Rocamar Hotel. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their excellent service made our vacation even more enjoyable and relaxing.
The hotel provided a wonderful atmosphere, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail throughout our stay.
We had such a great experience that we are already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you to everyone at Rocamar Hotel for making our trip so memorable!

Great hotel right in the ocean. It is close enough to ferry to walk but far enough to be very quiet. The rooms were super clean and had the most incredible ocean view.
