Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. There was also no lift, which wasn't mentioned when we made the booking. Carrying luggage up the stairs and walking such a distance was very inconvenient, especially after travelling.
We also found the staff to be less welcoming than expected. In our experience, they rarely greeted guests, which made the atmosphere feel less friendly and hospitable.
While the hotel has some positive aspects, the accommodation allocation, lack of clear information about accessibility, and the level of customer service had a significant impact on our overall experience. We hope the hotel improves these areas and provides clearer information during the booking process.
