Friendly and helpful staff - complimenrary drink on arrival as oyr room wasnt ready. Batteries refreshed in room heating/cooling fan remote handset when requested. Delicious breakfast but we found dining in the conservatory quite cramped and invasive. Our room was a quirky shape, the TV was tiny. Bathroom was ckean and modern except for the ill fitting shower head and very narrow bath. Lovely outside patio area.

The Duke Hotel was lovely and in a great location. The restaurant served fantastic food and we ate there much more often then we have done in the past in other hotel restaurants. But above all the staff were absolutely brilliant. Professional but personable, and always willing to help with everything. The only slight negative was that the hotel had only 6 parking spaces so parking close to the hotel was not guarenteed. Despite this, I would highly the hotel and we are looking to go back there.
