We liked the central location of the hotel. Queen Bedroom was comfortable and clean. Good air conditioning. Staff were helpful and smiling. The breakfast was excellent. There's no car parking with the hotel but a discounted rate was given for Times Square car park 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Very quiet hotel opposite Newcastle rail station. Very pleasant staff, room nice and roomy. Breakfast adequate.

We stayed during the heat-wave and we were delighted with the air conditioning.. allowed a really good night's sleep. The bedroom was clean and functional but two tiny quibbles .. no reading lamps beside the bed and no proper make-up mirror .. no proper lighting for this. The staff were wonderful .. helpful, kind, friendly, enthusiastic and patient .. they couldn't have been better. 6 stars!
The breakfast was ok .. no frills .. the coffee was dire .. could have been more fresh fruit.
The location was perfect .. in the centre of everything yet not noisy, opposite the main station, near shops, art galleries, museums and theatres. I highly recommend staying here.

Staff were amazing, all wearing smiles. Main entrance does not do the hotel justice.
