We have stayed at the Gin many times and this stay was very good. The property, while historic, is well maintained and clean. I was concerned by some reviews but found everything to be well cared for. Our accessible room was large, spotlessly clean, had high ceilings, heavy woodwork, and a modern updated bath. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast is minimal and self-serve but was adequate for our needs.

We loved our stay at The Gin. The front desk was helpful and kind when we arrived. She gave us helpful advice about the area. There were several cute shops in walking distance as well. The room was clean and had a nice size bathroom. The hotel is older and has a nice historic vibe. The balcony restaurant upstairs was a nice place to eat and get a great street view.
