Room was clean. AC worked fine but was very noisy. The room had a microwave which was great to heat up my coffee ( coffee shop a 3 block walk). Did not have a full kitchen as shown in some photos ( room 104.) Shower was powerful! Overall was fine for my purposes.

Hotel Point Loma has become my favorite place to stay whenever I’m in San Diego. I keep coming back because the rooms are consistently clean, the location is great, and I always feel comfortable staying here.
It’s close to the water, within walking distance of several restaurants I really like, and still convenient to downtown. I often travel to San Diego on my own, and feeling safe where I stay is important to me — I’ve always felt very comfortable here.
The staff has also been wonderful. Sam at the front desk in particular is always friendly, helpful, and provides exceptional service. It’s the kind of personal service that makes me want to keep returning.
I’ve stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Hotel Point Loma for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, welcoming place to stay in San Diego.
