I stayed at the flamingo for a 3 week Ironman training camp just this last April, 2026. From the time walking into the property it felt a
Little like coming home. It isn't flashy or big and fancy, it's lovely, quaint and feels like home. I brought my bike and luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor, and when I entered the room it was lovely, like my bedroom. Clean, good quality bed, nicely appointed and quiet. The next morning and mornings after, staff greeted you warmly, breakfast available and always willing to talk and help with whatever you might want or need. It's a very simple life and honestly, it was kinda perfect. All the staff was on point and I really had no complaints with communication. Furthermore, it's right in the main town, only one block from oceanfront. I enjoyed the stay and have inquired to stay again this November for the race there on Cozumel.

I had a great stay at Flamingo Hotel in Cozumel. The location is excellent within walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, bars, and shops, while still being quiet enough to relax.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations or any questions I had. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel has a charming atmosphere that feels much more personal than a large resort.
If you’re looking for a comfortable (matress & hot shower water) well-located hotel with great service and good value, I would definitely recommend Flamingo Hotel. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Cozumel.
