Charming B&B. Our room was beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was tasty. It was right across from the Vanderbilt Mansion and had many other places to go to. We would definitely go there again.

Lovely B&B, beautiful surroundings, and a wonderful breakfast. Room was small, a bit crowded. Bed was comfortable. The ensuite bath was cramped. Rooms are on the second floor, up a difficult stairway. With my problem with stairs currently, had we known about this limitation, we might have chosen another place. However, the owners were delightful people, helpful and courteous . We enjoyed our brief stay.

The Journey Inn is a delightful Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts, Val and Eric, were wonderful and their suggestions on everything from dining choices to what to do and when to do them were all spot on! I suggest that you seek their advice before you travel so that you don't have to make any last minute changes! Just a few of their helpful suggestions: Go to the FDR Museum earlier in the day. It will take several hours if you do it right. Also, wear a sweater. They keep it rather cool inside. We did the FDR house on one day, the museum on the second day. I suppose you could reverse this.
