We picked this hotel because it has some rooms with a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very friendly, the hotel is super clean and the beds are comfortable.
It is quite a hike to the hotel from the train station so you may want to take a taxi to the hotel with your luggage.
Breakfast was good and breakfast room had big picture windows with a view of the Madderhorn.

I was so glad it was a bit away from the town center, although it was only 15 min walk away. With convenient electric bus, going around was so easy. And the fact that you have no other building between your room and Matterhorn, what more would you want. I want to go back there again soon even with exorbitant price in Switzerland.

Good base for hiking/mountaineering activities as located only 2min walk from the lift station. Room view Matterhorn view worth the price. Spacious room with a big balcony, very quiet at night. Typically no kettle in a room but i asked for it on reservation and it was provided with no issues. Breakfast was fine, a choice of cold meats and cheese with a very good selection of local breads. Close to a local bus stop which takes you to the train station/town centre or otherwise 15-20 min walk. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
