SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Queens

This hotel is great for a trip to NY. It’s only a 25 minute subway ride into Manhattan. The breakfast is always good and they have several options. The staff is always friendly. Sometimes there’s a wait for the elevator but it’s not bad.

Good hotel subway shuttle was great and very helpful. The breakfast area gets way too crowded making it an unpleasant experience. Air conditioning didn’t work great but it was somewhat functioning. Maintenance didn’t seem to think it needed to be fixed said it was just slow. Probably wouldn’t stay again but it’s ok for the mney

Stay for 4 days room was clean fresh , breakfast are, also decent for the price I definitely recommend 100% not far away from the city or airport !

We were expecting a very small room upon checking in based on reviews we saw when booking, however the two queen room had plenty of space for 2 adults and 1 teenager. I wouldn’t recommend booking for 4 adults but it was a lot more spacious than anticipated. You’re in NY after all! The room was also very clean! I bring Lysol wipes with me everywhere and the bathroom was spotless! The elevators do run slow at peak times so be prepared for a few minutes wait. If you want breakfast, you’ll need to be up early. They provide a little heat map of what to expect for breakfast volume in the elevators/lobby so you can plan ahead. The staff were very friendly, although we didn’t need much from them. If you need ice, just ask the bartenders, they were so accommodating. Valet and onsite parking was very easy and if you have a vehicle with you, it gives you peace of mind rather than finding an offsite lot. If you haven’t stayed in NY before, the location is a bit off the beaten path but quiet and within walking distance to subway. They have a shuttle that runs into the evening, if you prefer not to walk. Bonus tip: the bodega on the corner has excellent and cheap inexpensive bfast sandwiches if you’re not able to catch bfast at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!
