Fantastic, gorgeous property. Comfy beds, Beautiful facility. All new and very modern. Appreciated the extra layer of security that you have to have a room key to get to the upper floors. This does mean if you use a food delivery service you need to go to the desk to get it.
The big downer and the only reason I docked a star was because of parking. There were only a handful of spots near an entrance. The parking lot is across the street, and it is small and uncovered. You have to cross a brick street that is brutal on luggage wheels to get to the hotel, and the curb cuts are non existent at the first ramp up into the facility. When you’re pushing a stroller and trying to wheel in a family’s worth of luggage in miserable weather, the experience really leaves something to be desired. This setup does not feel the safest for women traveling alone or with children if you arrive after dark.

This hotel is a total surprise package in downtown Salinas KS. Our family was in a room with 2 King Size beds and they were California King and suite was apartment size. Was definitely worth it and help us relax from our return trip from South Dakota.
