A very quaint and delightful location. Perfect view of the castle close by from the restaurant. Picturesque grounds to wander around, and bikes to rent for the more energetic.

The marketing material suggested we would be in the castle rather than the hotel block

This is a bait and switch. The bait is the beautiful castle in the main picture but the rooms are actually located in a separate motel looking building. It is implied that the accommodation is in the castln, we were very disappointed that the castle is only for tricking us to go there. Dishonest!
Gave three stars (that is very generous) because the grounds look nice (there is a beautiful castle 600ft / 200 meters away) and the breakfast was good.
