Hotel Indigo Taipei North by IHG

good and helpful staff

It was very good—a truly excellent hotel.

Clean room

Poor experience - 1. Despite the policy stating a check-in time of 3:00 PM, the room was not ready for occupancy until 4:00 PM. 2. The accommodation (a suite with sofa) was reserved for 3 persons. The hotel initially only supplied essential items for two guests. Upon request, only a quilt and a tooth cup were made available for the third guest . Regrettably, other amenities such as pillow, towels, slippers, etc. were not provided to the third guest. 3. The shower drain struggled to handle the water discharge, leaving us uncertain whether this was due to a design oversight or a potential clog within the drain system. Consequently, we had to reduce the water flow during showers, diminishing the relaxation and enjoyment of the bathing experience. 4. IHG review concluded my rating of their hotel as 4, despite the poor ratings for the above. While the experience at the front desk was lacking, I am thankful for the spacious room and extend my gratitude to specific hotel staff members below. 1. The courteous guy who escorted us to the bar while we were awaiting our room introduced us to the services available at the hotel and provided updates on our room's readiness. 2. The friendly young woman who warmly welcomed us at the hotel entrance, often encountered in the mornings, along with the guy mentioned above, created a sense of genuine hospitality during our stay. 3. The diligent housekeeping team maintained my room's cleanliness and comfort throughout our stay.
