I can’t begin to say how amazing our stay was here! The staff was UNBELIEVABLY KIND! They went out of their way to accommodate us and truly went above and beyond during our entire stay! One of the things that impressed me was that they are so intricate and detailed in their decor and their attention to detail, particularly for the breakfast was amazing! I have recommended this place to all of our friends and family and plan to come back here!

A true hidden gem in Cuenca.
From the moment you arrive, you feel the peace, warmth, and attention to detail. The place is beautiful, tranquil, and surrounded by a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy nature.
The service is simply exceptional. The entire staff makes guests feel right at home, always with kindness, dedication, and a genuine smile.
The breakfasts are wonderful and prepared to the guest's liking. The delicious homemade bread, the exquisite artisanal jams made in-house, and the aromatic waters prepared with plants harvested from their own gardens are particularly noteworthy—details that make the experience even more special and authentic.
Congratulations to the owner and the entire team for their extraordinary work. The love, effort, and passion poured into every corner of this beautiful place are evident.
Without a doubt, this is a highly recommended spot for those seeking tranquility, quality, and an unforgettable experience in Cuenca.

I can't say enough about the Casa Montalvo team and how pleasant the place is. Just a beautiful small hotel that feels very comfortable and homey. Everyone is so sweet and attentive, and the breakfasts are gourmet. Wilmer is an amazing chef and manager. They go the extra mile to ensure guests have all they need to have a great stay in Cuenca. Great location too.
