Our stay at loom was good, the property was clean and had enough space for us. We had breakfast option but were not able to enjoy it, we stayed for 2 nights, first day we had to leave quickly to make it to our tour and didn’t have time for breakfast, there is alot of traffic and uners take long! Next day we also had to check out early to make our ferry but the breakfast looked like they had good options like juices, coffee pastries, etc.
When paying for the stay, I elected to pay at check-in and my credit card blocked the charge since it was international, we use the Apple credit card so they do not ask you to put in a travel notice but might still reject payment and ask you to authorize. This happened the day before check in and when I noticed I authorized the payment, the hotel was able to process on the third try and even sent me a receipt saying the payment was processed but they requested for me to send them a picture of the cc charge to make sure the payment went through.this was no problem, I emailed them the picture of the charge and it said pending on it since it takes credit cards a few hours or days to fully process transactions but they requested for me to send another picture of the processed fee because that said pending on it. I think this was a little overboard since they already had a receipt saying it was processed. I felt they were giving me a hard time for no reason and this was very inconvenient since I was in the airport on my way to Greece.

Lovely hotel and great location. Don’t let looks deceive you! The streets around the hotel look a little rough, but the area is fantastic, great people, bars and restaurants. Get out, walk and explore the area - the place to stay if you want a local Athens experience
