Residence Inn by Marriot in Merrifield Virginia was the perfect home away from home for my teen son and I while we visited extended family and went sightseeing in Washington DC. Our 2 double bed room was comfortable: a kitchen with dishes and pots, sink, stove, and fridge; desk for my son's laptop (and WIFI); cable TV and streaming services. We enjoyed the amenities: pool and hottub, basketball court, laundry, and fitness center. The daily breakfast was excellent, offering many delicious options. We also appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the Dunn Loring Metro station, which we used to visit DC. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay at Residence Inn. Merrifield again.

Amazing value for the price! Room had everything you could need. Fitness center was clean and useful. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and the food was good. Staff was helpful and available. The only thing I could wish for was a hot tub. This time of year, it would be nice, but they had it closed. However, I will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.
