The rooms were clean and in walking distance to the baseball game.

Loved the balcony/patio. Staff was friendly. Would have been five stars, however, they slapped a surprise $100 on my credit card. They explained this was some kind of fee that is paid outside of Expedia. I had no problem with that, it would’ve just been nice to know and not find out by surprise when reviewing my credit card statement. I was told I should have been informed at check-in, however, I was not. I put my credit card down for incidentals, and there was no mention of any additional fees that would be charged to it. When I called to inquire about this, they said they would give me a partial refund. This was enough to stop me from wasting any more time fighting the issue, but it’s not enough to make me want to go back. The property is nice, I’m just not a big fan of surprise charges.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maven. Loved the complimentary coffee and drink tokens. We utilized the shuttle car a few times since we didn’t have a rental car. Loved the amenities and the staff was very friendly.
