Friendly staff and beautiful location.
Loved our room with a view of the river with a hammock.
We especially enjoyed the aerial tram, monkeys, sloth and butterfly exhibits — the tropical landscape is magnificent.
It is very hot and humid, be sure to swim and stay hydrated.
Lots of memories made here.

This is a wonderful “back to nature” experience. It is in the rainforest - expect rainforest conditions. The staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The property is in an amazing location but needs a little updating while I appreciate that there is constant moisture in the air, some areas could be updated / painted and maintained a little better. Our stay here was still wonderful regardless.

I had a great time in Gamboa; one of the reasons was the Hotel, Gamboa Rainforest Reserve.
I was really surprised with the location, Gamboa is a paradise. The hotel is beautiful, nice rooms. The hotel rooms are quite spacious and cool, considering the climate in Gamboa in late June and early July; the weather is very hot and the humidity intense.
The hotel has a beautiful bar with a balcony and a wonderful view. The service is very good, and the staff is very friendly.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and varied.

Absolutely stunning hotel, so glad we stayed here.
Rooms were really spacious and the hammock on the balcony meant you could just sit and watch the wildlife all the time. And there is wildlife everywhere, we saw so much. Also recommend the night safaris.
The pool was great for our kids as had both shallow and deep ends.
It is a bit in the middle of nowhere but we easily managed to get an uber to/from Panama City
