We booked this stay last minute when our other stay fell through due to an inaccurate listing. They were very helpful and we were able to have an enjoyable time in Whitby.

Room was clean although some area in bathroom need touching up. It was satisfactory for our short stay & reasonably priced.
Staff welcoming on arrival.
Great to have pub next door to get breakfast & dinner when needed.

We always stay at Penny Hedge when visiting Whitby.
The rooms are clean, bed comfortable bath and shower all good.
The restaurant and bar areas have a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Breakfast is very good, we had an excellent evening meal there. The food and service was lovely. We took advantage of an email offer that we had received with a very generous 40% off main meals.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, from checking in, eating drinking at the bar/ restaurant. The housekeeping staff to checking out.
