Amazing vibe in this hotel. We loved the style and the unique touches - would look forward to staying in a Palihotel again in other cities. The toiletries are high end and the room was comfortable. Our room was toward the back of the building and was quiet. We also didn't mind the slightly slow elevator - it's from 1910 (safely updated of course) and the history of that was very cool! It's older even than the elevator in Coit Tower! The location was also convenient for transit and for picking up a rental car on one day.
We were confused about some of the amenities, like whether there was coffee available in the morning or maybe a complimentary drink at the bar, and couldn't find the information online. We admittedly didn't wind up asking about it until our last day at the property, but it would have been helpful to be verbally informed of the options when we checked in.
