We had a pleasant stay at Novotel Leme in Rio de Janeiro. The hotel is beautiful, with a stylish and comfortable lobby and common areas. The location is excellent, in a quiet area close to Copacabana.
The rooms are nicely designed, but the cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We did not try the breakfast, but the buffet looked delicious and offered a great variety of options.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. Great location and service, but the rooms could use a little more attention to detail.

Exceptional front desk service! They speak English very well and we had no problem to communicate. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel has 24/7 security - a guard outside the lobby and cameras on each floor plus you can have a little safe box in the room to keep your documents.
The cleaning crew is you-can’t-wish-for-better! They use a pleasant scent chemicals that won’t irritate your nose. Our cleaning lady (sadly, I don’t know her name) was excellent - the room was spotless, even the floor, when we got back from our trip to the mountains. Even my t-shirt was folded neatly 🙂. A special thank to that hard-working Brazilian lady! May God bless you abundantly!
The Novotel Leme serves a tasty breakfast made from scratch! They have a professional who perform a quality control on the spot and per the dish that arrived into dining room. The cakes and breads are something everyone should try! All the juices are fresh from real fruits (no concentrate!), various coffees are also available!
The only wish I would have is an easier access to the hot water in case the guests want to have a hot tea in their rooms in the evening when the restaurant is already closed.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone!
