We stayed at the Hotel Villa Sirina for 4 nights to visit Taormina and Etna. The hotel is family owned and run and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very clean, well maintained with a nice pool in a quiet location. The hotel is situated on a bit of an incline about 10 minutes walk to the main Taormina train station and there are bus routes on the road outside the station to Taormina, Naxos, Catania etc. There are shops and bars within around 10-15 minutes walking distance (heading towards Naxos). Taormina is around 20 minutes on the bus. Alternatively the hotel has parking facilities. The hotel pool is nice with well kept gardens. We were happy with our choice rather than staying in the center of Taormina (I would suggest not staying in the centre if you are hiring a car). I would definitely recommend this hotel, but I would suggest maybe consider car hire if you struggle walking because of the incline. Taxis are also very expensive (15 euros just from the train station and around 35 euros into Taormina).

The staff was wonderful, especially Giovanna. She made us feel like we were a guest in her own home. The pool was lovely. The breakfast delicious. The only drawback that we could see is the distance from any restaurants or activities. It’s somewhat isolated. But the positives much outweigh that one negative.

Pool was wonderful and had a great patio for relaxing after sightseeing!

A very pleasant hotel with nice friendly owners and staff. Sufficient parking on site with just a 5 minute drive up the hill to Taormina old town or 5 minutes to coastline restaurants.
Our sea view room was a good size with a small balcony, the suite rooms have much larger balconies equipped with fridge, TV, good WiFi, a/c etc. Very nice good size swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful, juices, cereals, breads, bacon, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurt and by now in Sicily the usual large array of cakes and tea and coffee.
