Next to the famous Cartier jewellery store on Paris' Rue de la Prix, the Westminster is in the city's tourist heart. It is adjacent to the famous Opera and is only short walks to the equally famous Galeries Lafayette and Printemp department stores and Place Vendome and Tuileries.
As such it is in the priciest part of town. Our room was large, and delightfully furnished with a very good Queen double bed. The bathroom was likewise well appointed. These made our three day stay there very enjoyable, although we did not eat in its dining room.
The staff, with one exception, were very helpful. The one exception was a house staff member who grumbled when we did not fit their schedule to make up our room.
It is a hotel which fits somewhere in between a larger boutiques and those much larger ones in Paris that have nightly rates that are more costly.
All in all good value.
