Very clean, a modern design, and well-maintained property at Courtyard by Marriott. Staff was helpful for requests to make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was available for sale at the foyer.
A microwave in the room would be the only improvement.

There was some confusion when I checked in about the breakfast I paid for through Expedia, but it was figured out. The staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were above average and not some make your own waffle experience.
Everything was clean, although they forgot to empty out the fridge in my room, but that’s not a big issue.
My biggest complaint is paid parking for a hotel in Bakersfield that isn’t even close to whatever “downtown” Bakersfield is. That is a $10 joke for a property like this. Just add it in the price, I almost spit out my water.
