We have stayed at the Holiday Inn several times. The hotel is across the main road from the beach, but there is a free trolly to the beach that is available. There is also a public playground for the kids next to the hotel.
The breakfast is good. The pool is clean. The staff is nice. Overall it is a good hotel for a beach vacation in Hilton Head.

Loved all the trees, lots of shade.

The property location was very good; a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The property could use some renovation. The breakfast menu could use some variety.
