We had a very pleasant stay in Nice, and the apartment’s location was one of its biggest advantages. It is ideally situated, just a 2-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais and only a few minutes from charming streets lined with restaurants and cafés. The Hop-on Hop-off bus stop and public transport connections along the promenade are also nearby.
Despite being in such a central location, the apartment is very quiet, overlooking a spacious inner courtyard with greenery. The large, private terrace was one of our favourite features. We also appreciated the bathroom window and the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed, including a coffee machine.
The building is very clean and well maintained, with a pleasant and respectful atmosphere. The host was available and responded very quickly to our messages via Booking.com.
One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment was not cleaned during our week-long stay, although we made sure to keep it tidy ourselves. Also, only two complimentary coffee capsules were provided on the first day, so we bought additional ones for the rest of our stay.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, especially the excellent location, the peaceful atmosphere, the private terrace and the apartment’s amenities. We would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Nice while staying close to the main attractions.
The mattress definitely needs to be replaced, as it is sagging and has noticeable dips, making it uncomfortable. This is disappointing and does not do justice to an otherwise lovely apartment and its excellent location.
We also had nowhere to leave our luggage after checking out at 10:30 a.m., as our flight was at 5 p.m. We eventually found a luggage storage facility nearby, but had to pay for this service.
The key collection process was complicated and felt like an escape room game! We had difficulty finding the correct location because Google Maps directed us to the apartment’s parking area, which is on a different, nearby street. We then had to search for another street with our luggage and found several lockboxes attached to a fence at a different residence, where the key was stored. A simpler key collection process would have made our arrival much easier and less stressful.
In my opinion, the two main areas that need improvement are the mattress and the key collection arrangements. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the guest experience.

The apartment is conveniently located close to the seafront, making it a great base for exploring Nice. The washing machine, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine were useful during our stay. Being able to do laundry was especially convenient, as we were travelling light.
The fridge and ventilation fan were a little noisy, which could disturb sleep. It would be helpful if the host could reduce the noise. We also only found shower gel, so providing a small amount of shampoo would be appreciated.
