Château Senejac is fabulous. We just wrapped up a two-night stay and it was an absolute highlight of our trip through Bordeaux. The setting is quiet and genuinely beautiful — the kind of place where you can actually unwind, not just pass through.
The wine was excellent, and the whole experience of tasting it in that setting made it even better. But what really made the stay was the people. Emma, who hosted us, was warm and attentive from check-in to check-out and made us feel completely at home. Chloe led us on a tour that was both knowledgeable and genuinely fun. And Hannah in the wine shop was a delight, eager to share her knowledge of the wine and the different appellations in the Bordeaux region. All of the staff we encountered clearly love what they do which is a testament to the property and the owners.
Quiet, beautiful, great wine, and some of the friendliest staff we encountered on our entire trip. We'd return in a heartbeat.

The property was excellent and exactly what we saw on the pictures. Emma the hostess was the best and made us feel welcome showing us around the Chateau and what we could do in the local area. Breakfast on the terrace was so nice on a sunny day. We wish we had stayed two nights as one did not do it justice.
The entrance that google takes you to is not the main entrance and it took us 5 minutes to work out where the entrance was.

Property is beautifully renovated - for an old chateau the rooms maintain the old charm but have all of the modern updates, such as a comfy bed, air conditioning and a lovely modern bathroom
Breakfast was nice, with fresh orange juice and pastries
Helpful information pack provided with restaurant and vineyard / tasting suggestions
Checking in was a little complicated - timings are restrictive and the front doorbell doesn’t work, so we were outside for a while before we managed to get through to someone to let us in. Once we were greeted the stay was great!
