We enjoyed the privacy in the garden. The host was very responsive and helpful. If better maintained it could be paradise on earth.
The pool was greenish when we arrived. The daughter of the host came by and added some chemicals into it. However, we cleaned the pool ourselves with the equipment provided.
The pool deck is wood which was quite old and not well maintained (given the size of the olive tree, the pictures on booking are approximately from 10 years ago). Consequently, a great extend was rotten and brittle so that we did not dare to walk barefoot after one of us got a really nasty splinter.
The kitchen was poorly equipped. We bought glasses and mugs as those available were tiny and thus not useful if one would like to have a nice soft drink with more than 1 ice cube. In the kitchen cabinet were a lot of leftovers from former guests. We did not want to use them and would have preferred to have the space available for our groceries.
The garden was not well maintained and there were a lot of tiger mosquitos bothering us throughout the day. Although we acknowledge that mosquito population is not controlled by the host, it significantly diminished our stay and therefore is added to the evaluation.
Given the value for money, I unfortunately cannot recommend this accommodation.

Le portail était ouvert, une allée menant jusqu'à la maison quelques dizaine de mètres plus loin.
Juste une difficulté à trouver le numéro de maison, caché par la verdure... Madame nous a rejoint après lui avoir passé un appel, comme convenu.
Nous étions à 4 voitures, aucun problème de stationnement.
Machine à laver, parfait pour un séjour de 15 jours. Cuisinière électrique, casseroles et vaisselle suffisante. Un BBQ. Pour le café c'est une Senseo et un petit percolateur.
La grande piscine qui nous a bien rafraichi, nous avons eu du très beau temps (30° de moyenne) pendant les 2 semaines !
Une plaine de jeux, table de Ping-Pong, terrain de foot pas très loin! Le village est à visiter à pied, il est charmant. La petite boulangerie qui ouvre à 6h, peut prendre vos commandes la veille. Les croissants étaient excellents!
Pour les grands magasins, à 25 minutes en voiture, à Manosque, vous trouverez Leclerc, Auchan, Hyper U...
La présence de guêpes qui avaient soif et venaient boire dans la piscine, mais une solution a été trouvée pour diminuer leur venue, arrosage le matin et le soir (ouvrir la vanne de l'arrosage automatique) heureusement pas agressives.
Des moustiquaires pour les fenêtres des chambres seraient les bienvenus, comme il n'y a pas d'air conditionné, le soir et la nuit les fenêtres restent ouvertes pour rafraichir. Les prises antimoustiques ne sont pas toujours suffisantes. ça freinerait l'entrée des mouches au niveau du rdc aux portes fenêtres aussi.
2 ventilateurs c'est un peu juste, heureusement, nous en avions pris avec sachant qu'il n'y avait pas l'air co. Cela dit, bien fermer les volets et fenêtre lorsque le soleil tape côté sud et ouvrir lorsqu'il est au plus bas, ça a bien marché.
