Worst accommodation

Location

The worst stay I have ever had. 1. Wrong apartment: We booked a one-bedroom apartment but were given a studio instead. There was a significant price difference between the two apartments. This happened on Saturday, and we spent most of Sunday moving between apartments instead of spending time with our family. 2. Very poor condition: The apartments were small and poorly maintained. Almost everything seemed worn out, damaged or broken. 3. Dirty kitchen & blocked drain: The kitchen was dirty and greasy, and the drain was blocked. We had to contact the host and wait while it was being cleaned. 4. Shower: The shower was also in poor condition and clearly needed proper cleaning and maintenance. 5. Missing essentials: No hairdryer, no bath/floor mats, no clothes drying rack, and the towel rack was far too small. 6. Insufficient linen and towels: For a 12-day summer stay, we were given only one set of bed linen despite having two sleeping areas, and only one set of towels. 7. No cleaning supplies: There was no mop or basic cleaning equipment for a 12-day stay. Overall, this was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. The apartment did not match the listing, was poorly maintained, and lacked basic essentials. Considering the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable.

An apartment with huge potential.

Apartment 131 Spacious apartment with a lovely view into the courtyard, with a balcony. WiFi connectivity was good. Excellent bathroom. Good water pressure. Washing machine worked well. Great seating area with a dining room and chairs. Lovely designed kitchen, with fridge, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher and kettle. Blackout curtains in the bedroom. Telephonic communication was good.

Kitchen - Pots and pans, but no utensils to prepare meals. Limited cutlery, mugs and glasses. Bedroom - one duvet which was smaller than bed, not functional for a couple. Thankfully a blanket available so we could stay warn. 1 x pillow. Earlier written request for 2 x duvets was not attended to. Communication - written communication not responded to easily, but a direct call was helpful.

So much potential, but not there yet!

Unit 66 Location brilliant to the train station. Large bedroom, well laid out unit with great potential. Bathroom nice and functional. Well designed kitchen area.

A little more investment in this apartment and communication with guests would significantly improve the rating and experience. Kitchen : badly equipped. No toaster or microwave. No breadboard. Crockery and cutlery insufficient eg 1 teaspoon, 1 breakfast bowl for an apartment to accommodate 4. Oven dirty, used cutlery in the drawer. Balcony door off hinge. Clothing drying unit broken. Curtains hanging loose, with blackouts in lounge with thin fabric in bedroom. No reasonable sized coffee table. WiFi access is very inconsistent and extremely slow. Only a single duvet inner - very thin and marked but fresh new duvet cover was appreciated. Duvet smaller than the physical bed. In future, 2 covered duvets should be provided along with a fitted sheet. Dining room chairs filthy dirty. Communication either on Booking.com, email, or text messages are not responded to.
