This is just a perfect location, the accomadation has everything you need, and your right on the beach. Its very remote and I would def want to go back for a full week. I would suggest you make sure you are stocked up. its a great location to explore the lakes without the business of the lakes.

Its remote location away from the crowd made it unique.
Every morning woke up with a smile with bleating of the sheep. It’s very clean, hygienic and well maintained, comfy caravan.

Sheep for neighbours, gorgeous views of the sea. Only short drive to wonderful lakes, mountains and waterfalls. Super friendly place

Hosts were wonderful, as were their neighbours. Arrival gift of beer, sweets and biscuits was a lovely touch. The site is sheer bliss with sheep and cows for neighbours. Private beach was idyllic. Private decking was fabulous to have breakfast and supper on.
Lovely little snack hut with a terrific selection of cans, snacks and local ice cream. Neighbours also had free range eggs for sale which were delicious.
Weather was a mixed bag but the caravan was snug and free from drafts.
Caravan has a little kitchenette and fridge, hot water all worked ok and shower was decent.
Plenty to do locally, Muncaster Castle and Cumbria Wildlife Park come highly recommended.
The beds were so uncomfortable. Twin beds are unsuitable for anyone over the age of 12.
We tried the camp bed but that was horrendous so one of us slept on the sofa, the other on the floor so that our 17 year old could have the double bed.
If you're used to camping and caravans, have a young family and no arthritis then I'm sure you will love it here.
Sadly, it wasn't for us.
