The Altair service was above & beyond the standard expected. They found, kept and posted some possessions left in the room after I phoned some 5 days after checking out. I’ll definitely be recommending the Altair Motel to people asking about accommodation in Cooma.

Location, easy to walk to restaurants, hotels and shops. Room had a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, crockery, cutlery and fridge which we found valuable. Friendly staff. Parking close to room. Would recommend.

Management are making an effort which was apparent from providing free Netflix, coffee bags (not just instant) and good services and dining information.
Couch was a little low. We had trouble getting up from it.

Room was tidy. Liked the outdoor area
We knew room was small but it was even smaller than we expected. We got clean towels etc but no one ever made the bed
