This dangerous villa ruined our holiday causing a serious and maybe life changing injury.

Location is good, situated in a pine forest with plenty of shade and an open view. Rooms were clean, comfortable and the overall size of the villa would be described as spacious.

Originally booked for 4 adults but only 1 couple could travel. This is from their findings. Access to the villa is difficult and dangerous. The last section of the driveway is extremely steep. Many of the external lights in the garden are in a poor condition decreasing the efficiency of lighting the driveway and increasing the risk of harm. Evidence of this is that a simple walk down the driveway ended in a broken leg to one of the guests requiring a 4 day stay in hospital. Many of the external lights in the garden are not safely fixed to the wall, post or anything solid. Quite a few are broken and have bare wires showing which is obviously an electrocution risk. The boards that comprise the lower deck are not fixed in position and move when walked on. There are also large gaps between the ends of the boards that are hazardous and unsafe. The outdoor furniture is plentiful but unfortunately in poor condition e.g. a rusty table and several sun lounger cushions had simply rotted away. Areas of rock/brickwork in the garden along with the entrance to the house were cracked and crumbling. The area around the main door is a trip hazard. The main door itself fabricated from metal, had lost most of its paint and is corroding. Inside the house there are many areas in need of renovation such as the bedroom ceiling that has clearly suffered a leak in the past but has not been repaired or repainted. A door frame appears to have been attacked with an axe, a power socket in the lounge wall is hanging out with the wiring exposed and several light switches either do not work at all or have to be worked on/off two or three times to bring the light on. The sealant in the bathroom seems to have been applied with a dining fork, the shower base leaks and the floor harbours black mould.

Try somewhere else

We liked the pool sadly it turned green after 10 days and took 2 days to get sorted

Was fairly dirty showers full of mold decking was full of trip hazards The kitchen had a terrible selection of cooking appliances also the microwave that is advertised does not exist and honestly there is to much to list that was wrong with the property would not recommend
