In my opinion this hotel is best avoided if you actually want to enjoy yourself!

Good location

My stay at this hotel was awful! The bedding provided is without doubt the worst I’ve ever seen in any holiday accommodation anywhere in my entire life. It consists of a dilapidated sofa bed which, when folded out, results in a u shape so your head and legs sit well above your torso, virtually guaranteeing back pain following use. To add to it, the sofa bed mattress itself is filthy and stained. I only know this because in order to avoid needing to be stretchered out by the morning, I removed the mattress from the sofa and laid it in the floor, getting a good look at its condition in the process. In addition, if you decide to book this hotel, maybe take some tools along for repairs while you’re there. The toilet seat is barely attached to the toilet, the plug in the bathroom sink is jammed shut so water can’t drain and the fan (which looks like a reject shop purchase) that you’ll need for this very hot room doesn’t work! Finally, a couple of hints, given the instructions provided are light on. If you’re trying to exit the building the door won’t open unless you press a small silver button on your right. There is a lift to the second floor but if you’re larger than average or have large luggage or especially both, it requires a contortion manoeuvre of some kind to fit in, which in hindsight primed my back nicely for what lay ahead. Maybe bring some spare toilet paper in case, like me, there’s only half a roll provided. A sponge or dishwashing utensil and tea towel would also be worth packing if you plan to cook or eat in as none of these was provided. Finally, based on my time there, you’ll need your own wifi, because the ‘free’ wifi network listed was non existent.

Worst experience ever.

Literally nothing

First of all, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke as soon as I entered the apartment. The odor was overwhelming and made me feel unwell. Because of this, I was forced to leave earlier than planned — it was simply impossible to stay in such conditions. Secondly, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I couldn’t even get through one night — it was that bad. Overall, the apartment felt very uncomfortable and not cozy at all. After years of using Booking, this was by far my worst experience.
