We had an amazing stay at the Mermaid’s Dream in Sorrento. When I booked it, I thought it was a hotel, but upon arrival, I realized it’s an apartment building, with one or more floors dedicated to short-term rental apartments.
The apartment was exactly as pictured—if anything, it was even nicer than the photos on Expedia. And that view was amazing!!! Everything felt brand new, and everything worked perfectly. Having a separate bedroom and two bathrooms was a huge plus since we were traveling as a family with two children.
The location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance of countless wonderful shops, restaurants, and cafés, yet the street itself is quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. It’s about 10-15 minute walk from Marina Piccola (where you catch a ferry to Amalfi, Capri, etc.)
The only minor inconvenience was that the apartment came with just one room key, which was a bit challenging for a family of four with older children who sometimes wanted to go their own way.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily return to this property on a future trip to Sorrento.

Our stay was a perfect 10/10. Communication with the host was seamless—quick, friendly, and helpful both before and during the trip. The b&b is in a super walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars, and the sprawling balcony is just chef’s kiss—the kind of place you never want to leave. Everything was exactly as described (if not better). Would absolutely stay here again!

Ultra Modern with all the amenities and more that you would expect. Ernesto was very accommodating and responsive to all our requests and desires. He volunteered to make a dinner reservation at a restaurant that turned out to be a highlight of our trip.
Location was relatively quiet but very close to central shopping and entertainment areas.
Highly recommend.

This unit was exceptional for the quality of the unit, the concierge service, the location in front of an open park and the view! The small boat tour of Capri that was arranged by the Dream Mermaid staff was excellent!
