The location in the city meant we could walk to places and catch a bus/tram. We found restaurants nearby. The apartment has everything you need. Good communications with the owner, and very clear directions to get into the property. I used a scruffy looking parking garage a block away in the same street, and had no issues with damage or theft.
The entry from the street and into the apartment is quite rustic. It is all functional, but isn't the most attractive approach. The building is obviously old. Be aware that you have to deal with the Milan Area C fee, which I paid online.
