The views and property itself is incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful, most speak English so that helps a lot if your Spanish isn't great. Our only real letdown was that Expedia said this place was "all inclusive" and it is not. You pay as you go and the restaurant, at least during our time there, is only open thru lunch. Their food is amazing though and it's a shame they aren't open for dinner. The staff was very accommodating in helping us order food in and have it delivered. Options are limited in Puerto Angel though. Also of note: dogs. There are many dogs in the surrounding neighborhood and they bark all night long. Can be bad if you're expecting a full restful sleep. Overall great experience though and would recommend to anyone willing to get off the beaten path a bit.

Every corner in this place is beautiful and the girl at reception was amazing and friendly; including the cute doggie they have as pet. The beach is quiet and this is the ideal place to relax and forget about everything. The only problem I had was the internet connection :( completely gone during my whole stay so I hope they get another supplier or a backup option.
