Il Gabbiano is located just above the seaside village of Bordighera in one of the westernmost areas of the Riviera di Ponente, a few kilometers from Sanremo, Nice, and Monte Carlo.
Interiors:
Il Gabbiano is a ground-floor apartment with a private entrance and a stunning ocean view. The entrance to the property is through the garden, where you’ll immediately find a beautiful porch and an elegant outdoor living area with satellite TV. The porch leads directly to the modern, well-equipped kitchen; on the right side of the kitchen is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, while behind the kitchen is a triple bedroom with direct access to the garden. * A surcharge applies for opening the annex when occupancy exceeds 5 guests *
Upon request, an additional room and a second bathroom in the annex can be made available (surcharge applies) with 7 days’ notice for preparation.
Hot tub open from the last Saturday in May to the last Saturday in September
Garden:
The fenced-in garden, approximately 300 square meters, extends along the front and side of the property, offering privacy thanks to the curtains and the valley, which make the setting very secluded. The main area is paved with teak and features the dining area, the relaxation area, and the sunbathing area.
Along the perimeter and on the sides, there is a beautiful English-style lawn and a lovely hedge that further ensures privacy. To the side of the property, in a secluded spot yet still offering panoramic views, is the hot tub, which comfortably accommodates 4 people and is available from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. The outdoor area features an outdoor grill facing the sea
, equipped with two grill grates. THE HOT TUB IS AVAILABLE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS UPON REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF 550 EUROS.
The property also includes a garage suitable for a mid-sized car and an outdoor parking space.

This apartment has been our favorite vacation rental of our 7 vacations in Italy. The view from the apartment is wonderful, as you lounge on the shaded terrace. The jacuzzi with cool water was a life-saver in August. The neighbors were charming, offered tips, and made no noise. Kitchen was well-stocked. The air conditioning worked well and was very necessary. Bordighera is charming and the beaches and water were very clean and not at all crowded. All interactions with our hosts were 100% excellent. The only potential downside is the 10-15 minute uphill walk from the beach/town back to the apartment. For us it was welcome and great exercise, but those who need to use a car will have to deal with a tough parking scenario in town. All in all, a fantastic stay that we plan to repeat next summer.

We stay at this nice place 5 days with our two little kids. It was really perfect for us. The kids loved to play in the garden. The view from the garden to the costline was very beautiful. The accomodation had everything we needed 😊👍
The communication with the host was well organsied, nice and very easy.
