About this apartment rental
The apartment consists of a large bedroom with built-in closets and a workspace, and a spacious, open-concept living/dining room with an open kitchen and a sofa bed for two people, opening onto two terraces (north-south). Bathed in light and overlooking the surrounding gardens, its tranquility is disturbed only by birdsong. My home base between trips, a very personal repository of my memories that add a warm, sometimes exotic touch to a modern, functional, and decidedly colorful decor. I hope you’ll feel just as at home here as I do every time I return. Fully equipped, ideal for writing, working, or relaxing. Above all, enjoy the terraces if the weather permits!
The apartment is located on the top floor of a private mansion. It’s accessed via a separate entrance with an elevator and a staircase that leads to another apartment, which is also private. The house is located on a private, traffic-free, and secure street lined with houses and gardens—an oasis of calm amid the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city. It’s very well served by public transportation, and you can also park a bike there and even charge an electric scooter!
This is not a hotel or an investment property. The apartment, like the rest of the house, is lived in and full of life. We’re happy to welcome you here and hope you’ll feel right at home with us. You’re welcome to read the books, listen to the CDs (as long as you put them back where you found them), and use all the amenities and spaces made available to you... Please respect the “private” closets where I keep my belongings and take good care of the place.
Located in a “village-like,” family-friendly neighborhood with all the shops just a stone’s throw away (bakery, pharmacy; Monoprix, Intermarché, Lidl, and other medium-sized supermarkets within a 200-meter radius); a large open-air market less than 500 meters away on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays (and on other days a bit farther away). Parc de Sainte-Perrine is 200 meters away, and nearby attractions include the Bois de Boulogne, the banks of the Seine, the Parc des Princes, and Roland Garros, as well as the Jean-Bouin and Pierre de Coubertin stadiums. Also nearby: Maison de la Radio, the headquarters of several TV networks (France TV, TFI, Arte, Canal+), and numerous production companies as well as international organizations. The Porte de Versailles exhibition center is a 10-minute ride away by tram (direct), and the main museums and tourist attractions are easily accessible by metro or bus. Access to the western highway is very close by (Porte d’Auteuil), as are the Périphérique and the riverside expressways (Porte de Saint-Cloud). Metro lines 10 and 9 (Chardon-Lagache, Église d’Auteuil, Michel-Ange-Molitor, and Exelmans stations) are all nearby; bus routes 22, 42, 62, 72, and 88 have stops nearby. Tram lines T3 and PC are less than 500 meters away. Vélib bike-sharing stations, scooter-sharing stations, and car-sharing stations are nearby, as well as the Batobus.
