Friendly staff who cooked a great omelette for breakfast, with bread and jam and butter and tea or coffee and juice, and even made attaya for us when we asked about it. We were the only guests (for the whole month of October, we were told) so the place was quiet and peaceful (if a little sleepy perhaps). Conveniently located in what seemed like the center of Ngaparou. The Lebanese restaurant nearby is inconspicuous but so delicious, give it a go!
We found this rather proudly priced for what you get, but this is not unusual in Senegal these days. We were there during rainy season so everything was wet or damp, with many mosquitos. The beds were very soft - some might like this - and the hot water one so appreciates after getting soaked in the rain only worked on Day 2 (of 3 in total). Nothing tragic, everything was workable, it just wasn't wonderfully comfortable. I suspect it is very different during the dry season/when the sun shines.

"I couldn’t stay at Kayzen house due to a technical issue but the owner was extremely reactive in finding a solution and proposed to “upgrade” me to another villa few kilometers aways."
