Great location, very close to the entrance to the Great Wall of China
The floor of the room was not clean

Localisation
Il faisait un froid de canard dans la chambre. Le staff (super) est rapidement venu réparé le chauffage mais dommage que cela n’ait pas été anticipé car ce n’est qu’à notre départ que la chaleur a commencé à s’installer dans la chambre

Literal steps from the entrance of the Great Wall, this hotel was the ideal spot and recommended by a friend who stayed previously. The room and bed were incredibly comfortable, the property was peaceful and had beautiful natural landscaping, and staff were very accommodating. The restaurant on site was especially delicious, with a vast set breakfast and fresh dinner ingredients.
This hotel was great - the previous reviews commenting on price and quality of rooms and amenities are not, in our opinion, being realistic about the cost of staying somewhere so close to the Wall, running a business post-COVID, nor of having a hotel tucked into the wilderness. For everything that matters (cleanliness, comfort, safety, location, and service), this hotel is 10/10.
