Casa Gianni is located just a stone’s throw from Alba and at the foot of the Langhe’s most renowned tourist destinations, first and foremost Barolo. Casa Gianni opened in September 2022, following a year-long complete renovation, designed, coordinated, and executed by architect Gianluca Marabita, in memory of his beloved father Gianni, the inspiration behind this home, which he commissioned in 1990 and where he lived with his family until 2008. Today, Casa Gianni has been converted into a wonderful vacation home, spread over two floors with a living room on the first floor and four bedrooms on the first floor—including two large suites, each with its own bathroom—and a two-room apartment consisting of two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Casa Gianni boasts a large outdoor area, is open on all sides, and features a spacious courtyard, a large, newly seeded garden, and a fully equipped outdoor seating area.

The ROERO suite is a large, air-conditioned room measuring 37 square meters, featuring a king-size canopy bed, an antique 19th-century Piedmontese divan sofa that has been restored and reimagined, an antique carpenter’s bench, and two single beds. The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a large 180x110 cm shower, double sinks, and a makeup station.

Casa Gianni is very close to Alba, as well as to Barolo, Barbaresco, and all the beautiful Langhe wineries. Casa Gianni will open in October 2022, following a one-year renovation process that began in September 2021 under the direction of architect Gianluca Marabita, in memory of his beloved father GIANNI, the owner, who commissioned the house in the 1990s and lived there with his family until 2008. Today, Casa Gianni has been transformed into a charming home. It is arranged over two floors, featuring a very large living room on the first floor and four bedrooms on the first floor, including two large suites—both with en-suite bathrooms—and a two-room apartment with a shared bathroom. Casa Gianni also features a large outdoor area; it is completely open on all sides and includes a large courtyard, a spacious, freshly planted garden, and a fully equipped outdoor patio.
