Overall the house was as described however all of the furnishings and especially the carpets were much older than I expected. There were just too many old, worn out carpets on every surface which made the whole house feel dusty and not super clean. Bed lamp was falling apart, drawers were hard to open. The location is good, close to shops and restaurants in Hyannis. The house really has everything you need but it definitely could use some sprucing up.

We enjoyed our stay on Cape Cod. Hyannis is a fun place and easily able to visit surrounding areas and Martha's Vineyard as well. The cottage has eclectic charm. The towels and linens were brand new and plentiful. The Kitchen it well equipped though there is no counter space for food preparation and no place to store dry goods. The walk to the beach and heartbeat of main street was longer than expected. The back garden was intentionally overgrown around the perimeter, created a lovely "secret garden" effect. The home does smell musty and of moth balls. This really should be addressed. The home has AC but we had no control over the settings.
